Your Impact
As an Assistant Teacher, you will support a diverse Montessori classroom (Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House ages 3–6), fostering a calm and engaging space where children can explore, learn, and thrive at their own pace. You will play a key role in crafting intentional learning environments and guiding children through personalized and small-group activities, always with patience and respect.
Most importantly, you will empower children to build self-confidence and discover their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and understand the unique needs of each child.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing and orderly classroom.
- Support both individual and small-group learning experiences.
- Build positive relationships with children and their families.
- Collaborate with Lead Teachers and team members to foster a strong classroom community.
Qualifications We Seek
- Experience working with children aged 3–6 in an educational or childcare setting.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and positive mindset.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Interest in furthering your understanding of the Montessori method (prior Montessori experience is a plus but not mandatory).
