At Guidepost Montessori, our Assistant Guides are instrumental in nurturing children aged 0–6, fostering their independence, self-assurance, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.

Your Role
As an Assistant Guide, you will support a mixed-age Montessori classroom (infants, toddlers, and children aged 3–6) by helping to cultivate a serene and engaging atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.
In our Montessori environment, both the space and the guide work together to enhance each child's growth. You will assist in creating beautiful and intentional learning environments and facilitate individualized and small-group activities—always with care, respect, and patience.
Your most important contribution will be to help children build confidence in themselves and discover their potential.
Your Responsibilities
- Closely observe children to better understand and support their unique needs.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a tidy, beautiful classroom environment.
- Support individual and small-group learning activities.
- Cultivate warm and respectful relationships with children and their families.
- Collaborate with Lead Guides and team members to foster a cohesive classroom community.
Qualifications We Seek
- Experience engaging with children aged 3–6 in educational or childcare settings.
- A positive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude.
- A genuine love for working with young children.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the Montessori framework (prior experience is a plus but not a requirement).
