At Guidepost Montessori, our Assistant Guides play a pivotal role in nurturing children aged 0–6 to foster independence, confidence, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.

Your Impact
As an Assistant Guide, you will engage in a mixed-age Montessori classroom (Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House for ages 3–6), creating a calm and inviting atmosphere that encourages children to explore and grow at their own pace.
In our Montessori setting, the environment and the guide collaborate to nurture each child’s development. You will assist in crafting beautiful, purposeful learning spaces and facilitate individualized and small-group activities, always with respect, patience, and care.
Your role is crucial in helping children build self-confidence and discover their abilities.
What You’ll Do
- Observe and understand children’s individual needs
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a beautiful, orderly classroom
- Support individual and small-group learning activities
- Cultivate warm, respectful relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with Lead Guides and team members to foster a strong classroom community
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children aged 3–6 in an educational or childcare setting
- A positive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Willingness to learn and grow within the Montessori philosophy (prior Montessori experience is a plus but not required)
