AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Vice President, Design-Build Manager to spearhead some of the most intricate and prestigious transportation initiatives along the East Coast. This role presents an opportunity to influence the infrastructure landscape by managing expansive, multidisciplinary highway and transit projects from inception through completion. Leverage your design-build knowledge to steer cross-functional teams, nurture vital client partnerships, and deliver forward-thinking, resilient solutions that enhance mobility and bolster community development.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify potential program challenges or prospects proactively, analyze issues using comprehensive resources, formulate alternatives, and determine the best strategies to address challenges or seize opportunities.
Oversee the most complex and sensitive projects across multiple geographic locations, ensuring project magnitude and complexity are effectively managed.
Act independently or as a team leader to represent AECOM with consulting firms, ensuring the final deliverable aligns with the project’s original scope and budget.
Develop and uphold detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, resource distribution, and budget forecasts.
Lead cross-disciplinary teams and coordinate efforts across various departments to meet program goals.
Build and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and senior management.
Implement and oversee risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential program risks.
Prepare and present regular program status updates to executive management and stakeholders.
Mentor and develop junior program managers and team members to enhance organizational capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine program management processes and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and company policies during program execution.
Negotiate and manage intricate contracts with vendors and partners to fulfill program objectives.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of programs.
