Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Development
Guide, mentor, and assess a team of 3-4 sales professionals to enhance performance and skill development. Establish clear performance metrics, individual objectives, and personal growth plans. Cultivate a sales culture centered around client satisfaction, collaboration, and accountability.
2. Revenue Strategy & Sales Implementation
Transform business objectives into actionable sales strategies to meet and surpass revenue targets. Create and optimize frameworks for forecasting, pipeline management, and performance evaluation. Assist your team in crafting impactful media proposals, pitch presentations, pricing strategies, and negotiations.
3. Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Develop and maintain trustworthy relationships with key clients, including brands, agency partners, and strategic advertisers. Oversee high-level client interactions, solution presentations, and contract negotiations, ensuring exceptional delivery of services. Promote consultative selling techniques that position JioStar’s digital advertising solutions as the top choice in the market.
4. Market Strategy & Solution Innovation
Collaborate with product, marketing, analytics, and content teams to develop unique digital advertising propositions. Align go-to-market strategies with industry trends, platform capabilities, and client KPIs across sectors such as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), and automotive industries. Ensure the sales team is well-equipped with in-depth product knowledge and competitive insights.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration
Work alongside internal teams such as Ad Operations, Analytics, Product Strategy, and Creative to ensure flawless campaign execution and client satisfaction. Provide valuable feedback based on market and client insights to influence product development and advertising formats.
6. Industry Analysis & Competitor Insights
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging advertising formats (such as CTV), and the competitive landscape to continuously refine sales strategies. Mentor the team on utilizing these insights to enhance their sales approach.
