The Opportunity:
Join Relay Therapeutics as an Associate Director or Director of Biostatistics, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of our clinical data analyses across various clinical studies. As a key member of the Relay Tx clinical development team, you will leverage biostatistical expertise to drive the execution of clinical studies designed to turn our groundbreaking science into meaningful treatments for patients. You will report directly to the Head of Biometrics.
Your Role:
- Serve as the lead biostatistician for a clinical program, providing both technical and business insights to support statistical activities.
- Oversee daily biostatistics activities, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables for both in-house and outsourced biostatistics services.
- Actively contribute to clinical study teams, participating in protocol development, statistical analysis plans, and clinical study reports.
- Utilize your statistical acumen to design innovative clinical trial methodologies, analysis techniques, and data presentations.
- Ensure the scientific validity of statistical methodologies applied in clinical studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Clinical Research & Development, Clinical Pharmacology, Translational Medicine, Clinical Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and Project Management.
- Lead and support the preparation of regulatory submissions, including briefing books and comprehensive summary documents.
- Facilitate the presentation and publication of clinical trial findings, contributing to advancements in statistical methodologies, and represent the company at scientific conferences.
- Assist in the development of department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Work closely with the Head of Biostatistics on project budgeting, resource allocation, re-forecasting, and establishing program milestones, in collaboration with Clinical Project Managers and Clinical Development Operations.
