Job Opportunity:
We are in search of a seasoned and proactive IT professional to take on the role of Associate Director, Information Sciences (IS) Medical Affairs Solutions. This pivotal position will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and executing the global deployment of crucial Medical Affairs technology platforms. A robust understanding of medical affairs is essential, particularly in the realm of medical information, as you will spearhead system enhancements for global support and facilitate coordination between vendor software and Revolution Medicines’ Data and Omnichannel teams, along with field medical operations. Additionally, this role is integral to maintaining platform health, fostering continuous improvement, and collaborating with Medical Affairs Operations.
Reporting to the Director, IS Medical Affairs Solutions within the Information Sciences department, you will provide essential support to various Medical Excellence departments and operations, ensuring seamless integrations, shared standards, and a cohesive user experience. You will act as a strategic partner in managing an expanded vendor footprint, enhancing web-based capabilities, and contributing to a scalable architecture that adheres to consistent governance, global regulatory compliance, and a sustainable support model across regions and vendors.
Take technical ownership of Medical Information and Funding management solutions, encompassing support, enhancement, and global deployment.
Oversee vendor management and coordination.
Leverage an understanding of data generation and structures from medical systems to bolster Data and Omnichannel initiatives.
Collaborate with Medical Affairs Operations and cross-functional IS teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver new capabilities aligned with evolving business requirements.
Provide operational insights and guidance regarding the administration, architecture, design, and deployment of enhancements and releases to ensure IT solutions meet business needs, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing systems for efficiency and performance.
