AbbVie is on the lookout for a dedicated and innovative Associate Director of HR Communications to spearhead the development and execution of dynamic communication strategies. This role will be pivotal in delivering enterprise-wide communications and guiding senior leadership messaging, all aimed at enhancing awareness, promoting understanding, and fostering engagement within our culture of inclusion.
The successful candidate will possess a robust background in formulating strategic communication plans, crafting senior leadership narratives, and producing diverse content tailored for both internal and external audiences.
This role requires collaboration with Human Resources and various enterprise stakeholders to effectively implement our strategic communication initiatives throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute effective communication strategies that align with Corporate Communications objectives.
- Create compelling HR-related content to engage employees, leaders, and key stakeholders through effective communication.
- Provide expert counsel to management on communication opportunities and risks by leveraging a strong understanding of the corporate and external HR landscapes.
- Oversee the review process for external HR communications materials, implementing process improvements and ensuring that speakers are well-prepared to represent AbbVie.
- Direct the content strategy and approval process for HR-related social media communications.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to manage content creation and updates on abbvie.com.
- Develop a systematic content update process to ensure HR messaging is effectively communicated across the enterprise.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives, report on progress, and celebrate milestones.
- Identify and explore new communication channels and solutions to enhance content dissemination and employee engagement.
