The Associate Director (AD) for RINVOQ AD (Atopic Dermatitis) will spearhead critical strategic initiatives for the brand. This role encompasses annual strategic and tactical planning, ensuring competitive readiness and field response, organizing advisory board planning and execution, as well as supporting the Digital Lab to optimize brand positioning and enhance performance. The AD will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to create an integrated go-to-market strategy that addresses the dynamic competitive landscape and unique factors within the Dermatology market. Key elements of this role involve a thorough grasp of customer insights, engagement strategies, and marketing tactics. Partnering with functional teams and the Immunology franchise, both domestically and internationally, will be essential for the successful execution of tactics that propel the RINVOQ AD business.
This position reports to the Director of HCP Marketing, RINVOQ AD.
Responsibilities are outlined below, but may evolve based on business needs:
- Support the development of the annual strategic and tactical planning process for RINVOQ AD, synthesizing market research insights and complex clinical data to inform innovative tactical execution.
- Act as the liaison between the Strategic Marketing team and brand team to lead the process of acquiring customer insights through consultations, advisory boards, and participation in key Congresses via CBICs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales force and sales training to create robust and effective tools that ensure the successful positioning of RINVOQ across strategic fronts, key stakeholders, and patient types (MD/Dos & Advanced Practice Practitioners).
- Execute professional tactics in partnership with the agency and MRL partners to support competitive education and field team readiness (e.g., ISA development, response handling, competitive workshops).
- Support ongoing or ad hoc performance updates to internal leadership (e.g., earning calls, ELT support) in collaboration with the RINVOQ leadership team.
- Oversee the budget for personal and non-personal promotion items related to internal and external agency costs.
