About the job
The Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving corporate revenue by spearheading the acquisition, development, and retention of strategic B2B clients for Executive Education programs in Qatar and the wider GCC region. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts, navigating complex sales cycles, and fostering long-term corporate partnerships, all while ensuring that commercial performance, pipeline health, and profitability targets are consistently met.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Enhance corporate sales performance by devising and executing sales strategies that align with institutional growth objectives.
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of new and existing corporate clients utilizing CRM tools to guarantee accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Identify new market opportunities and growth levers, including sector expansion, partnerships, and strategies for account penetration.
- Prepare and validate all commercial proposals and contracts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with senior decision-makers.
- Draft business proposals and contracts, validating all outgoing client commercial proposals while engaging with internal stakeholders such as Faculty, Legal, and Operations throughout the client lifecycle.
- Oversee account management strategies for key clients, ensuring renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities are systematically pursued.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Growth and Impact Officer on pricing strategies and profitability models to ensure sustainable margins.
- Monitor revenue, pipeline health, and program profitability.
Program Design & Experience
- Partner with Faculty and Subject Matter Experts to transform client needs into impactful learning solutions with clear objectives and outcomes.
- Lead the design of learning experiences by structuring participant journeys, modalities, and engagement methods to ensure a cohesive end-to-end experience.
- Ensure smooth transitions from Sales to Operations, aligning client expectations with program delivery.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, proposal quality, and overall client experience.
- Act as a liaison with Executive Education peers at HEC Paris Main Campus to align on standards, innovation, and best practices.
Relationship Management
- Develop and sustain trusted relationships with senior leaders and HR/L&D stakeholders across client organizations.
- Represent the institution at client events, launches, graduation ceremonies, and professional forums to enhance market visibility and partnerships.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage direct reports, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
