Location: New York City (Hybrid - 2 times a week in the NY office) or remote, but candidates must reside in the EST time zone.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will embody the FIRST brand as part of our Solutions team within a Financial Services company. The Associate Event Technology Manager will play a pivotal role in aiding clients with registration websites, integrating innovative technology platforms, and managing essential data while closely collaborating with the event delivery team. This role will involve supporting the events team in the implementation and continuous support of new technology platforms and utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage event information and create detailed reports.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on user experience for all pre-event and on-site registration for both virtual and in-person events.
- Oversee the implementation and project management of event registration websites, app development, and all technological components of our events.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise.
- Manage client communications regarding evaluations, including save-the-dates, invitations, registrations, confirmations, etc.
- Ensure database integrity by managing consistent information, accurate data input, and generating lists upon request.
- Maintain effective communication with both internal and external clients while responding to inquiries within established service level agreements.
- Collaborate with the Event Delivery team on overall program logistics, production, and execution.
- Coordinate name badges, tent cards, place cards, departure notices, email confirmations, agendas, signage, and related materials as necessary.
- Design and set up registration desk flow.
- Assist in reaching out to clients for pertinent event information.
- Create and distribute post-event client surveys to gather feedback.
- Plan and utilize mobile applications; may assist with the build depending on the platform.
- Manipulate lists to provide team members with relevant registration data, year-on-year statistics, and insights into various elements and event analytics.
- Provide clients with cost-saving strategies and value adds whenever possible.
