Role Overview
As an Associate in Corporate Development (Underwriting), you will take on a pivotal role in assessing acquisition and de novo ASC opportunities. You will manage substantial segments of the underwriting process and assist in the deal execution from initial evaluation to closure.
This position is ideal for a mid-career professional with transaction experience who can work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and collaborate effectively with senior leadership on investment strategies.
What You’ll Do
Lead the creation and enhancement of detailed financial models for acquisition and de novo opportunities.
Conduct thorough analyses of historical performance, forecasts, and critical value drivers.
Challenge assumptions to uncover financial risks, sensitivities, and potential upside scenarios.
Play a vital role in financial due diligence, including the review of diligence materials and third-party valuation reports.
Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to the Deal Team and senior leadership.
Support structuring considerations and monitor post-close performance metrics.
Continuously enhance underwriting tools, templates, and processes.
What You’ll Bring
3–6+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, healthcare finance, transaction advisory, or a related field.
Proficient financial modeling and analytical skills.
In-depth understanding of valuation concepts, return metrics, and deal economics.
Ability to autonomously manage workstreams and deliver results with minimal oversight.
