Join our dynamic team at Penumbra, Inc. as an Associate Marketing Manager, where you will be instrumental in driving the commercialization of both current and future products. This role emphasizes the execution of strategic marketing activities, focusing on a designated product line while fostering effective communication across various cross-functional teams. You will build relationships with physician customers, collaborate with sales managers, and engage with our global marketing team to elevate our marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional support to U.S. customers through hands-on product activities and field-oriented initiatives.
• Collaborate with U.S. and global marketing teams to enhance communication and provide necessary support for regional sales efforts.
• Represent Penumbra at industry trade shows and meetings, promoting our innovative products effectively.
• Develop and implement promotional strategies, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of product communication materials.
• Engage in field training on company products and assist in creating comprehensive training resources.
• Acquire a deep understanding of product specifications and the development process for your assigned product line.
• Collaborate on cross-functional launch teams to guarantee the successful introduction of new products to the sales organization and end users.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Penumbra’s product offerings and anticipated customer applications, while staying informed about the competitive landscape.
• Consistently evaluate the competitive environment, focusing on customer perspectives regarding product features and benefits.
• Identify opportunities for market penetration and participate in market research activities as needed.
• Contribute to the creation of detailed marketing literature and sales tools for Penumbra products.
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and comply with domestic and international quality regulations and standards.
• Uphold relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
• Guide department members in compliance with QMS, regulations, and standards.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Engineering/Bioengineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in the medical device or similarly regulated healthcare industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Biology, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in collaborating effectively with colleagues across various levels and departments.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
