We are currently seeking a Transfusion Medicine physician to enhance our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the Therapeutic Apheresis Service and Transfusion Laboratory Service, conducting apheresis consults, overseeing apheresis procedures, and managing transfusion medicine laboratory and clinical pathology calls. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. Candidates must hold board certifications in Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) and Blood Bank Transfusion Medicine.
Eligibility for active, unrestricted medical licenses in Missouri and Kansas is required. The academic appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (non-tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology at The University of Missouri Kansas City, commensurate with experience. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to educational and scholarly activities within the department. A comprehensive and competitive faculty benefits package is included with this role.
