Our esteemed client is in search of an Associate Partner (AP) for their Financial Services Sector's Financial Management team, specifically looking for candidates with a strong background in the Insurance Industry. This team offers consulting services aimed at enhancing the CFO organization and Business Finance Partners, focusing on finance strategies, organizational operating models, performance metrics, and financial reporting, including cost and revenue attribution processes, accounting controls, and analytic reporting applications.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and support intricate finance processes and financial systems projects, both during competitive sales proposals and client engagements. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of financial management solutions to the client's core insurance clientele. This will involve thorough fact-gathering, business analysis, conclusion drawing, and reporting. You will forge robust relationships within client organizations and lead cross-functional teams that include various stakeholders from client businesses, technical organizations, and third party software providers. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and go-to-market teams to provide innovative thought leadership in developing cutting-edge financial management solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mentoring and managing teams within IBM, fostering internal communities of client industry practitioners.
- Providing leadership for client engagements that encompass requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and supporting proposal efforts for future work.
- Driving sales efforts to achieve targeted sales goals.
- Delivering industry-specific guidance, strategies, and best practices.
- Maintaining industry references and conducting competitive analysis.
- Contributing to the creation of thought leadership on financial services sector topics.
- Defining and developing repeatable consulting solutions tailored to the industry.
Moreover, the AP will cultivate an understanding of the business challenges faced by insurance clients and, by collaborating with both client and internal teams, will devise solutions to tackle those challenges effectively.
