Job Summary:
The Associate Product Manager role is pivotal in a thriving software company, acting as a vital link between our clients and the internal SCRUM development team. You will play a crucial role in understanding and translating customer requirements into actionable User Stories, prototypes, and detailed test cases, all in alignment with SCRUM principles.
We are looking for a highly effective communicator with at least two years of product management experience who excels in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will effortlessly navigate between technical development support and customer-facing responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with customers to define and document software feature scope, functionality, implementation details, and usability requirements.
- Transform customer requirements into our product backlog through User Stories and well-defined test cases, storyboards, and prototypes, adhering to SCRUM methodologies.
- Partner with the SCRUM Team to ensure timely and accurate implementation and testing of features.
- Create comprehensive customer-facing documentation, including user manuals, help files, best practices guides, and release notes.
- Manage customer expectations concerning feature development, releases, and training sessions.
- Communicate project progress, milestones, risks, and roadblocks effectively to all stakeholders.
- Engage in other customer-facing activities, such as training and technical sales support, as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in a product role, such as product management or development.
- Familiarity with software development and testing processes, ideally within an Agile framework.
