This position is perfect for a sales professional who has a passion for the retail sector, particularly within consumer electronics and digital commerce—including e-commerce, DTC, TikTok Shop, and broader digital ecosystems. You should be adept at turning these activities into significant commercial victories for NielsenIQ’s Tech & Durables solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete new business acquisition process, from prospecting and positioning to closing deals.
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that consistently builds and converts a robust pipeline of new opportunities.
- Identify and connect with new budget holders and senior decision-makers.
- Generate and qualify strategic leads that foster sustainable growth.
- Craft persuasive narratives that link client challenges, market dynamics, and NielsenIQ’s innovative solutions, particularly in the digital commerce arena.
- Launch NielsenIQ solutions into untapped markets and accounts, translating interest into formal agreements.
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Identify growth opportunities and devise targeted strategies to penetrate priority segments and verticals.
- Exhibit a profound understanding of client industries, competitive landscapes, and market trends.
- Articulate NielsenIQ’s thought leadership and innovations in a manner that builds trust and accelerates client decisions.
- Anticipate client needs, proactively positioning solutions that address real business challenges.
Commercial Execution
- Maintain rigorous pipeline management and accurate forecasting using CRM and internal sales tools.
- Lead negotiations for new agreements, including pricing strategies and deal structures.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and demand generation teams to synchronize outbound efforts, campaigns, and account-based strategies that drive meetings and build a healthy pipeline.
