As an Associate Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coaching, supporting, attracting, and retaining Compass agents while cultivating a vibrant company culture. This position acts as a vital link between our regional leadership team and our agents, focusing on executing various sales and platform-related strategies in alignment with the company’s vision and annual objectives. Your primary responsibility will involve managing a portfolio of agents, inspiring, coaching, and mentoring them using Compass’ innovative platform, while also offering strategic and operational guidance to the executive team.
Please note: this role is 100% in-office in San Francisco, CA.
At Compass, you will:
Growth Planning & Professional Development
Support an agent portfolio by motivating, coaching and mentoring them, while providing strategic and operational guidance to the local Sales Management team.
Assist the Sales Management team in retaining and guiding Compass agents, all while fostering an exceptional company culture.
Lead regular office-wide agent meetings to discuss growth planning, performance reviews, company policy updates, and market insights.
Communicate market intelligence from the Research team and Business Development targets to agents.
Provide agents with Business Planning support, constructive feedback, and professional development guidance.
Become proficient in Compass’ tech platform to demonstrate to Agents how to enhance their business through our tools and programs.
Assist with initiatives aimed at increasing agent productivity, reinforcing these practices through coaching.
Regularly track and monitor key performance metrics that drive revenue and enhance efficiency.
Culture Building
Ensure Compass fosters a positive work environment conducive to agent satisfaction and retention.
