M9 Solutions is currently looking for a highly skilled Audio Visual Design Engineer to join our team on-site for a client in Fayetteville, NC. An active Top Secret clearance is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed drawing packages and bill of materials using CAD software.
- Design and test sophisticated videoconferencing and integrated audiovisual systems including control systems, displays, video walls, audio reinforcement, and streaming technologies.
- Utilize Crestron, AMX, and Extron control systems for audio/video system design.
- Conduct site surveys and provide engineering support, gathering and documenting operational, functional, and technical requirements, and determining project scopes and overall system costing.
- Design, test, and troubleshoot network and telecommunications systems, such as IP and ISDN networks.
- Interpret plans and specifications to ascertain the required materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Apply knowledge of design techniques and principles in producing electrical plans, blueprints, and drawings.
- Establish specific goals and plans to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
- Develop test plans for complex AV control systems, including functional acceptance tests for AMX, Crestron, and Extron systems.
- Provide on-site user and administrative training for installed audiovisual systems.
