Position Overview:
The Electronic Design Release Engineer will lead the technical evaluation and design release of automotive Electronic Control Unit (ECU) components affected by end-of-life or obsolescence issues. This role involves conducting component risk assessments, formulating replacement strategies, and overseeing redesign processes to ensure system compatibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with hardware design teams and software engineers to align product specifications and ensure seamless integration.
• Design and implement architectures that harmonize hardware limitations with software performance.
• Create and execute test plans for hardware-software interactions, perform debugging, and validate functionality in real-world scenarios.
• Serve as a liaison among mechanical, electrical, and software teams to enhance product development efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and facilitating certification processes.
