Key Responsibilities
- Manage the parts sales process from initiation to completion.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of parts orders.
- Interact with customers and team members in a friendly, professional manner.
- Utilize the parts catalog to accurately identify and look up parts.
- Handle incoming calls, providing price quotes and detailed information.
- Review estimates to ensure ordered parts are correct and pricing aligns with estimates.
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Pull and fill orders from stock efficiently.
- Conduct weekly stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Alert the parts manager regarding out-of-stock items or urgent shop supplies.
- Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and process emergency orders as necessary.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly on service repair orders.
- Receive payments from retail customers or obtain necessary credit approvals.
- Organize orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Prior experience in auto parts sales is preferred.
- Able to excel in a high-energy work environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety protocols, operating manuals, and procedural documentation.
- Capability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and other numerical data.
