Position Overview:
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for directing the sales department, crafting and executing strategies to meet sales goals, mentoring the sales team, and ensuring a superior customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
Inspire, mentor, and drive the sales team to meet both individual and collective sales objectives.
Conduct regular meetings and performance evaluations, alongside training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
Recruit, onboard, and train new sales personnel as necessary.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Formulate and implement impactful sales strategies aimed at maximizing vehicle sales and profitability.
Analyze market trends, competitor movements, and customer preferences to adapt sales tactics accordingly.
Establish and monitor sales targets, ensuring they align with dealership goals.
Customer Experience:
Guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey from initial contact to final sale.
Address high-profile customer interactions and resolve escalated issues effectively.
Build long-lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Operational Management:
Supervise daily sales operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with parts and finance departments to manage inventory levels.
Work with marketing to design and implement promotional campaigns and events.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, assessing performance metrics and highlighting areas for improvement.
Utilize dealership management software (DMS) and CRM tools to monitor sales activities and customer interactions.
