Job Overview: As the Automotive Service Manager at Christian Brothers Automotive, you will be the go-to person for our guests whenever they require assistance with their vehicles. Your role is pivotal in fostering strong relationships with our customers, ensuring they feel valued and informed about their vehicle investments. You will oversee the entire repair process, keeping guests updated on their vehicle's status and ensuring their complete satisfaction before they leave our facility.
The Service Manager is entrusted with the comprehensive management of daily operations, including sales activities, personnel management, quality assurance, guest satisfaction, revenue generation, profit margin oversight, and achieving other business objectives set by the Owner. All office and shop staff will report directly to you, making your leadership essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage office and shop personnel along with daily operational activities.
- Enforce company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Implement corrective and disciplinary actions for employee non-compliance when necessary.
- Ensure that quality of work, employee attitude, and performance consistently meet or exceed guest satisfaction goals.
- Facilitate a smooth, organized operation of the store.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication at all times.
- Prepare estimates and work orders while collaborating with Service Writers.
- Oversee the selection of quality parts and ensure target margins are met.
- Open and close the store daily and handle accounting procedures.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits and reconciliations, reporting results to Franchise Owners or Operators.
- Ensure all equipment is operational and in good condition.
- Provide technicians with necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Act as the primary point of communication for customers throughout the service process.
- Greet every guest with enthusiasm and hospitality.
- Present clear solutions for vehicle repairs, ensuring customers understand the process.
- Sell services with integrity and professionalism.
- Represent the organization positively in every interaction.
