The Automotive Technical Curriculum Developer plays a crucial role in crafting, developing, and enhancing technical training programs that guarantee uniformity, quality, and effectiveness across luxury OEM training academies. This position collaborates closely with Technical Trainers, Academy Leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to convert intricate technical concepts into captivating, well-organized educational experiences. The Curriculum Developer ensures that course materials, assessments, and learning activities are coherent, standardized, and optimized for delivery at all training venues.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Course Development
· Spearhead the alignment and adaptation of course materials to maintain consistency in learning objectives, content progression, and timing.
· Standardize T3 (Train-the-Trainer) content and procedures.
· Oversee the T3 model where trainers engage as learners to refine tasks and delivery, making necessary adjustments based on feedback.
Digital & Classroom Learning Enhancements
· Transition assessment write-up processes to digital formats for electronic task sheet completion.
· Incorporate various multimedia and instructional tools into course materials.
· Ensure digital resources cater to multiple learning styles.
Assessment & Evaluation Design
· Revise and diversify assessment fault sets to avoid redundancy.
· Adjust scoring and feedback frameworks to accommodate varied assessments.
· Create systems for personalized assessment feedback.
Training Structure & Content Flow
· Evaluate course content distribution and redesign course structures as necessary.
· Ensure minimum training day requirements while maximizing value-added time.
Task & Vehicle Utilization Standardization
· Standardize vehicle fleet requirements across academies.
· Establish guidelines for real-world scenarios to enhance learning value.
Operational & Instructional Quality
· Assist in evaluating trainer competency.
· Maintain training-related documentation, task sheets, visuals, and assessments.
