The RO Performance team plays a crucial role in understanding and enhancing Waymo's self-driving technology. We are responsible for building and maintaining the essential infrastructure needed to process and analyze vast datasets from real-world driving logs and simulations. Our systems generate key performance metrics and power dashboards critical for tracking product performance, pinpointing improvement areas, and facilitating data-driven decision-making. The insights we provide directly impact Waymo's operational deployments, weekly performance evaluations, and ultimately enhance the safety and reliability of our autonomous vehicles.
