Reports To: Event Captain/Event Manager
Overview: As a Banquet Server at 21c Museum Hotels, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service. Your commitment to excellence and ability to adapt to various tasks make you a key asset to our team. You will engage with a diverse clientele, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow Banquet & Catering teammates to execute events seamlessly.
- Maintain communication with Event Captains and Event Managers to ensure outstanding service throughout functions.
- Assist with all aspects of event setup and teardown, adhering to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and direction from the Event Captain.
- Provide exemplary service to all guests, not just those attending the event.
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders, and clear tables as required.
- Follow established service protocols tailored to each type of event.
- Exhibit knowledge of procedures, terminology, and techniques used in the Banquet & Catering department.
- Understand the ingredients of food and beverage items available for the function.
- Be familiar with the hours, features, and services of 21c Museum Hotels.
- Maintain a positive, motivated attitude in all situations.
- Work effectively as part of a team for larger events and independently for smaller gatherings.
- Arrive on time and prepared for your scheduled shift.
