As the Bar Manager at Fairmont Vilamoura Algarve, reporting to the Outlet Manager, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the hotel bar(s), ensuring the highest standards of beverage service and hospitality are upheld consistently. Key functions encompass:
• Managing the set-up, cleanliness, stock levels, and overall service preparation of the bar.
• Training and supervising bartenders and bar staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Effectively scheduling shifts and managing team performance.
• Conducting regular training sessions focused on product knowledge, customer service excellence, and safety protocols.
• Ensuring guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service.
• Addressing guest inquiries and complaints with efficiency and discretion.
• Promoting guest satisfaction and loyalty by crafting memorable experiences.
• Collaborating with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef to design and update beverage menus.
• Staying updated on international drink trends and introducing innovative cocktails.
• Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing supplier relationships.
• Implementing cost control procedures to minimize waste.
• Conducting regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records.
• Ensuring adherence to local licensing laws and hotel policies.
• Upholding hygiene and safety standards in line with health regulations.
• Leading responsible alcohol service training and implementation.
