Execute precise wire cutting, stripping, and crimping using industry-standard tools (e.g., Molex, TE, Amphenol).
Organize and secure cabling within battery packs to ensure thermal and vibration safety.
Diagnose open/short circuits and continuity problems in prototype harnesses.
PCB & BMS Integration
Perform soldering and rework on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), including both through-hole and surface mount components (0402 size and larger).
Collaborate with the Battery Management System (BMS) for firmware flashing and validation processes.
Assist in the installation of PCBs into mechanical housings, ensuring appropriate grounding and thermal interfacing.
Cell & Module Handling
Handle lithium-ion cells (cylindrical, pouch, or prismatic) while adhering to stringent safety protocols.
Operate spot welding or laser welding equipment for cell interconnections.
Apply Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs), epoxies, and structural adhesives during module assembly.
Testing & Validation
Set up and operate battery cyclers (e.g., NHR, Chroma) and environmental testing chambers.
