In this fulfilling position, you will collaborate closely with children on a one-on-one basis, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing evidence-based strategies to facilitate the development of communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring that you are fully prepared to assist each child, even if you currently lack experience. Working with children can be unpredictable and occasionally challenging, so resilience and a positive attitude are essential. You should be comfortable with physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and at times carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
