About the job
Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician and play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding position, you'll engage with children one-on-one, executing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Utilizing evidence-based strategies, you will guide children in developing essential communication, social, and daily living skills, while minimizing challenging behaviors. Your compassion and dedication will empower these children to achieve their fullest potential.
This role demands patience and resilience as you'll be working in an active environment with children who may exhibit unpredictable behaviors. Physical fitness is a must, as you will often be standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or items up to 50 pounds.
At the end of each day, you will leave with a sense of fulfillment, knowing that you have made a significant impact on the lives of children and their families. If you're ready to embark on a fulfilling journey as a Behavior Technician, we invite you to apply today!
