About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician, where you will have the rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of children with autism. This role offers you the chance to work closely with children, implementing personalized behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
As a Behavior Technician, you will employ evidence-based techniques to enhance children's communication, social, and daily living skills while effectively addressing challenging behaviors. Your passion for helping children reach their fullest potential is essential in this role.
We welcome candidates who embody patience, compassion, and teamwork. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills, regardless of your prior experience. Please note that the role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, given the unpredictable nature of working with children.
At the end of each day, you can take pride in knowing you have made a significant impact in a child's life and their family's journey. If you're ready to join a passionate team that is dedicated to making a difference, we encourage you to apply now!
