As a Benefits Administrator at TransPerfect, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our comprehensive employee benefits programs. This includes overseeing leave requests and specialized accommodations, particularly those related to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as state and local regulations for short-term and long-term disability plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain various company benefit programs, including group health, dental, disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and 401(k) plans while ensuring clear communication with employees regarding their benefits.
Serve as a liaison with vendors and provide guidance to employees on eligibility, coverage details, and other benefits-related inquiries.
Manage employee eligibility within our HR systems and ensure accurate payroll deductions.
Perform monthly audits of benefits bills against payroll deductions and prepare necessary payment submissions.
Organize benefits orientation meetings to introduce the benefits package to new hires.
Assist during the annual open enrollment period, ensuring employees are informed and supported.
Facilitate communication with employees regarding leave needs and modified work schedules, developing written materials related to FMLA processes.
Oversee the entire FMLA leave administration process, from initial notices to return-to-work coordination.
Advise both managers and employees on the interaction between leave laws and other benefits.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements regarding employee leave and accommodations.
Maintain records of leave requests and accommodations, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal standards.
