The Role
We are in search of an accomplished Tender & Bid Team Lead to spearhead, develop, and enhance a high-performing bid function. This pivotal role ensures that all tender and RFP submissions are precise, compliant, and delivered punctually. More importantly, each submission should be engaging, tailored to the specific customer, and effectively communicate Terminalfour’s value in relation to the institution’s challenges and priorities.
You will manage a team of bid writers, coordinating multiple concurrent submissions across different regions while serving as the editorial and quality authority for all bid responses. This role requires a blend of team leadership, ownership of narrative and messaging, stakeholder coordination, and rigorous quality assurance, alongside hands-on involvement as necessary to support key bids.
This position transcends a mere administrative or volume-driven bid role. Success is gauged by the consistency, clarity, and persuasiveness of our submissions, as well as the team's ability to customize messaging to each client, avoiding generic responses.
For context, the term “bid” encompasses proposals, RFIs, RFPs, RFTs, and framework agreement proposals.
