At KIPP Miami, we are searching for a dynamic and nurturing bilingual (Spanish-English) School Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our front office. This essential role involves creating a friendly atmosphere for students, families, and visitors, addressing their needs with professionalism and care, and ensuring the smooth operation of our school on a daily basis. If you are passionate about educational equity and building strong connections with families in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Performing administrative tasks such as managing door buzzers and phone calls, directing inquiries to the right personnel, taking messages, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Greeting visitors, assessing their needs, and providing accurate information or connecting them with relevant stakeholders.
  • Addressing family questions and concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Acting as a positive liaison within the school, embodying our values, mission, and philosophy.
  • Maintaining a consistent presence in student discipline matters.
  • Assisting with student-related issues in the office manager's absence.
  • Supporting school-wide communication initiatives, including managing front office materials and helping prepare and distribute communications across the school.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of information systems related to student contact details, attendance, and transportation needs.
  • Receiving and distributing mail and deliveries appropriately.
  • Collaborating with the operations team on various school projects and responsibilities.
  • Maintaining a tidy, organized, and efficient office environment.
