Position Overview
As a Billing Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate, timely preparation, issuance, and management of customer invoices. You will oversee the entire billing cycle and maintain comprehensive account records. Your responsibilities are pivotal in upholding revenue integrity, resolving discrepancies, and facilitating efficient financial operations. Collaboration with internal teams and customers to validate billing data and address inquiries will be key to your success. Your accuracy, organizational skills, and strong communication will contribute significantly to the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute precise and timely customer invoices.
- Address customer inquiries and rectify billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with internal teams to confirm billing information and ensure precision.
- Maintain orderly billing records and assist in reporting and month-end procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, financial protocols, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing processes and fundamental accounting principles.
- Proficient in SAP or other ERP/billing systems is essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor in customer interactions.
- Able to thrive under pressure, manage deadlines, and resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
- Demonstrates high integrity, reliability, and a problem-solving attitude.
