Qualifications
What You Will Do:In this role, you will take charge of developing and implementing systems that guarantee the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of Helion's manufactured products throughout their lifecycle. You will address intricate, multidisciplinary engineering challenges vital for the large-scale deployment of fusion energy. Working collaboratively with engineers and technicians, you will contribute to the dynamic culture and growth of a rapidly evolving team. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Production and this position is based at our Everett, WA office.Your Responsibilities Include:Designing and implementing receiving and machine shop inspection processes to ensure the dependable performance of both outsourced and in-house manufactured components.Establishing lean testing and inspection methodologies to enhance manufacturing reliability.Leveraging manufacturing and product data to spearhead containment and corrective measures for fusion hardware and integrated fusion generators.Collaborating with design engineering teams to challenge and streamline hardware requirements.Engaging hands-on with experienced technicians to develop and execute robust manufacturing processes.Broaden your engineering expertise and domain knowledge by learning from seasoned professionals.
