Job Title: Business Analyst
Reports to: Head of Community Experience & CRM
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (35 hrs per week) – 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Location: The Society operates a hybrid working model, combining remote and in-person work at our Dublin 4 office.
Office Days: Attendance required on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Salary: €60,000 per annum

Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, providing structured technical analysis and requirements support. This position is essential for the successful execution of significant strategic projects, ensuring clarity in project scope and effective implementation. You will collaborate with various teams to comprehend organizational objectives, recommend critical technical process improvements, and align solutions with our mission to enhance outcomes for those affected by cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Definition:
Assist in stakeholder engagement to gather and document business requirements while providing technical insights for prioritization.
Translate operational needs into well-structured functional and non-functional specifications, emphasizing technical clarity.
Create comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate procurement, configuration, development activities, and test cases for new software projects.
2. Process Analysis and Improvement:
Map existing workflows to identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies, ensuring optimized solutions in new projects.
