About the Role
The Business Analyst serves as a pivotal connector between our client's operational teams and our dedicated technical delivery unit. You will lead the charge in gathering requirements, analyzing current logistics processes, and documenting the testable hypotheses that underpin our AI-driven simulations. By collaborating closely with Supply Chain Subject Matter Experts, Data Engineers, and Solutions Architects, you will ensure that the future decision-making frameworks we design are not only operationally feasible but also financially robust and compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Current-State Process Mapping: Facilitate workshops to chart existing allocation and routing strategies, pinpointing the sources of premium freight losses and alignment issues.
Hypothesis Design: Collaborate with SMEs to analyze historical shipment data and develop specific, testable hypotheses.
Future-State Logic Definition: Work alongside operational teams to establish optimal allocation rules, mode selection criteria, and escalation procedures.
Financial & KPI Baselining: Partner with Finance and Operations to determine baseline metrics and track the return on investment during pilot phases.
Technical Alignment: Convert intricate business rules and regulatory compliance needs into precise technical specifications for the Data Engineering and Full Stack teams.
Validation & Feedback Loops: Execute weekly operational reviews during live pilots, gathering planner feedback to refine model outputs.
Transition & Change Management: Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and facilitate training for planner teams while preparing the final Value Realization Report.
