We are on the lookout for a skilled Business Analyst Team Lead to enhance our team dynamics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a diverse team of over 6 Business Analysts across multiple locations.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to foster team growth.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires while promoting the development of existing staff.
- Serving as the escalation point for internal inquiries.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver robust and high-quality solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Overseeing team management duties including holiday, expense, and absence management, along with resolving disciplinary and grievance matters, and conducting annual performance reviews.
- Mentoring and leading the team towards excellence through training and support.
- Onboarding new team members and facilitating the professional development of current staff.
- Acting as an escalation path for business issues and queries.
- Managing task allocation, prioritization, and progression effectively.
- Utilizing Service Desk systems to uphold SLAs and conduct root cause analysis as necessary.
- Delivering top-tier customer service.
- Communicating with business stakeholders and the IT Leadership Team to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with Group IT policies and procedures.
- Planning and executing project activities for the development and implementation of new clients, sites, application enhancements, and upgrades.
- Conducting business and system analysis, design, development, and testing for warehouse management systems, transport management systems, and EDI integration.
- Analyzing project activities and enhancement requests, producing proposal and design documents for peer review.
- Engaging with both technical (internal and external) and business contacts.
- Identifying operational needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Specifying user/system interfaces and translating logical designs into physical designs while adhering to performance requirements and existing systems.
- Documenting all work using required standards and tools, including prototyping tools where applicable.
- Complying with Project Management Processes and project approval requirements.
- Assisting in identifying and assessing project risks.
- Preparing and monitoring project and quality plans, tracking activities against set plans.
- Leading the IT workstream during the UAT phase, supporting both internal colleagues and external clients to ensure successful completion.
