Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst specializing in Wholesale Banking, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the Bank’s transformation initiatives and system enhancements.
In this position, you will serve as a vital liaison among Wholesale Banking business units, IT delivery teams, vendors, and governance functions, ensuring that all requirements align with the approved business strategy, IT roadmap, and enterprise architecture principles.
Your contributions will include scoping initiatives, conducting feasibility assessments, and evaluating solution options for wholesale banking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for Wholesale Banking systems, covering:
- Corporate and Business Banking platforms
- Transaction Banking (cash management, payments, host-to-host)
- Trade Finance, limits, collateral, and lending systems
- Customer servicing and onboarding processes
- Prepare and maintain high-quality documentation, such as:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
- Functional Specifications / User Stories
- Process maps, workflows, use cases, and data flows
- Facilitate requirements workshops, walkthroughs, and sign-off sessions with stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Wholesale Banking, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams
- Engage with internal IT teams (delivery, integration, infrastructure, information security) and external vendors
- Support UAT planning and execution, including requirement clarification, test case validation, and defect triage
- Manage change requests and conduct impact assessments through formal change management processes
- Ensure requirements address regulatory, security, operational, and performance considerations for wholesale banking
- Develop effective working relationships with business and technology stakeholders
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clarifying business needs and resolving requirement gaps
- Support documentation and knowledge transfer for system continuity and operational readiness
