ABOUT INKOMOKO
Inkomoko empowers entrepreneurs by providing the tools and resources essential for business growth, fostering improved livelihoods and vibrant communities. Established in 2012, we have positively impacted the lives of over 41,000 entrepreneurs in East Africa, including a significant number of refugee entrepreneurs, resulting in thousands of new jobs and generating over $50 million in community revenue.
Our comprehensive approach includes training, consulting services, access to financing, and efforts to enact market-level systemic changes. As the largest lender to refugee entrepreneurs in Africa, we strive for a dual impact of social responsibility and financial sustainability.
With a dedicated team of over 220 staff across 18 offices in Rwanda, Kenya, and Ethiopia, we are on an ambitious growth trajectory outlined in our 2030 strategic plan, aiming to expand our services to five additional countries and serve more than 550,000 entrepreneurs while increasing our $30 million loan fund.
