Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Consultant within the Business Assurance Division, you will play a pivotal role in executing the business strategy laid out by the Business Assurance Business Manager and Sales Manager. Your mission will be to expand the comprehensive range of services offered by the Business Assurance unit, which includes certification, training, tailored audits, and technical consultancy. This will involve both proactive and reactive sales efforts across all industry sectors in South Africa, aimed at achieving divisional targets by acquiring new clients and enhancing the portfolio of existing ones.
Specific Duties Include:
- Conduct all activities in alignment with the SGS Statement of Integrity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant SGS Business Assurance South Africa operational quality policies and procedures.
- Gain a thorough understanding of audit and certification processes and practices.
- Implement the divisional Sales Plan, supported by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Promote all service offerings within the Business Assurance Unit.
- Meet targets for proposals, client visits, new client acquisition, and sales revenue for the Business Assurance division.
- Follow up on all proposals in accordance with divisional Sales policies and procedures.
- Familiarize yourself with Sales Prospecting as per SGS Business Assurance policies and procedures.
- Utilize client data and proposal/service offer worksheets appropriately.
- Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
- Target growth in various industry sectors to enhance the industry mix.
- Uphold and promote the image, capabilities, and integrity of SGS to our clients.
- Execute any other reasonable tasks assigned by your direct line manager.
