Our products are extensively available through Out of Home (OOH) and Food to Go (FTG) channels, effectively reaching vital end-users in the foodservice sector. Collaborating closely with distributors like BidFood and Brakes, we drive significant growth and product sales in these dynamic markets.
Your Role:
In this pivotal position, your main goal will be to cultivate and enhance our existing partnerships while exploring new business avenues. You will play a crucial role in crafting and executing the strategic aspects of our commercial plan by establishing and proactively managing relationships at various organizational levels.
You will assist these accounts through onboarding processes and rollouts, consistently seeking opportunities to deepen and expand these relationships. Reporting to the SNAM/NAM, you will work collaboratively with other business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Business Development: Initiate outreach to potential clients, securing meetings and building rapport with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Market Research: Independently identify new opportunities, map stakeholder networks, and understand their decision-making frameworks.
- Account Management: Oversee your own portfolio of key end-user accounts, ensuring robust relationships and meeting business performance indicators.
- Account Expansion: Develop strategic initiatives to grow existing accounts and broaden brand distribution.
- Pitching: Design and deliver compelling, professional presentations to prospective partners.
- Planning & Forecasting: Generate reports to track performance metrics, identify market trends, and create financial forecasts.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of relevant commercial and networking experience in foodservice or food manufacturing.
- Located in the UK with the ability to travel frequently.
- Valid UK driving license.
- A proactive self-starter with exceptional business development and sales capabilities.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the confidence to network with new and existing contacts.
- Ability to lead impactful pitches and presentations.
- Sound commercial acumen, capable of interpreting category and financial insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An adaptable and results-oriented approach.
