Join ProgressSoft as a Business Development Manager (BDM) and leverage your 5-10 years of sales experience in banking and payment solutions. In this role, you will engage with top-tier banks across English-speaking African nations, managing the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to contract signing and ongoing support. Conduct thorough market analyses and cultivate strong relationships with senior management within the banking and financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass sales targets set by ProgressSoft.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan tailored for the African market aligned with ProgressSoft’s 2022-2026 goals.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle in collaboration with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Technical Team Leaders.
- Engage effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction through collaboration with the ProgressSoft team.
- Work closely with the Bidding Team to prepare comprehensive documents and proposals that articulate business requirements and showcase ProgressSoft’s capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and proposals for solutions and ongoing maintenance.
- Utilize ProgressSoft’s CRM extensively to maintain and update client profiles.
- Conduct competitive product analysis to identify and present key differentiators.
- Spot and capitalize on new market opportunities.
- Establish robust distribution channels with reputable global, regional, and local firms.
