Join AbbVie as a Business Development Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) on a global scale. Your focus will be on identifying, pursuing, and executing new business opportunities within Operations Commercial Manufacturing. Collaboration with the marketing team is essential, as you will provide valuable customer insights and feedback to shape the marketing strategies of our business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate the mission and services of AbbVie CMO, clearly explaining our unique value proposition in the competitive landscape. Deliver engaging presentations to potential clients at managerial and director levels through Teams, in-person meetings, or at industry conferences.
- Timely respond to marketing inquiries and assess potential manufacturing opportunities. This involves a thorough evaluation of financial stability and technical fit, as well as understanding customer manufacturing demands and commercial propositions.
- Regularly update and manage leads and opportunities within SalesForce.
- Oversee the CDA review and approval process, ensuring compliance with internal stakeholders, including legal and leadership teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive technical assessments, effectively communicating client requirements and addressing any risks or constraints.
- Coordinate the proposal generation process, gathering cost data and authoring proposals based on collaborative input from clients and internal teams.
