Join MSX International as a Business Development Manager for JLR Trade Parts, a pivotal role in the automotive OEM parts sector for a prestigious global automotive client. In this position, you will spearhead efforts to elevate OEM parts sales in the market, focusing on strengthening our existing client partnerships while driving incremental sales revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Expand national OEM parts sales market share within the Independent Aftermarket (IAM).
Implement and execute strategic initiatives regarding pricing, parts portfolio, distribution, and marketing.
Collaborate across OEM brand and MSX teams to develop a best-in-class program.
Prepare concise business plans and present them effectively to clients.
Identify and nurture new sales channels for OEM parts.
Oversee the direction of the OEM parts sales business.
Manage and motivate the sales team, setting objectives and reviewing performance.
Analyze sales data and conduct monthly program review meetings.
Segment the market into customer groups and sales channels through thorough analysis.
Spot OEM sales opportunities within the independent collision, mechanical service, and wear sectors.
Establish and monitor a suite of KPIs to drive sales performance.
Convert OEM sales opportunities by defining and implementing appropriate strategies.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of the OES / OEM landscape.
Bring a dynamic management style from a manufacturing, dealership, or aftermarket distribution background.
Exhibit an ability to increase OEM market share against OES competition.
Show a proven track record of managing field sales teams and collaborating with high-profile stakeholders.
Demonstrate success in achieving sales targets and objectives.
Possess the ability to negotiate deals at the senior stakeholder level.
Understand vehicle manufacturer trade sales operations at the National Sales Company (NSC) level.
Balance diplomacy with assertiveness to navigate challenges.
Maintain a highly organized and efficient working style, thriving under pressure in a competitive environment.
Exhibit excellent presentation skills, conveying ideas clearly and succinctly.
