About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead and expand our presence in a strategic regional market. This vital sales position is focused on acquiring independent hotels and regional hotel chains.
As one of the initial team members in your market, you will have the opportunity to shape the territory and work closely with senior leadership. This role is particularly suited for individuals with prior experience selling hospitality SaaS solutions who are eager to lead the charge in scaling a new, high-ROI product category.
This market represents a crucial growth opportunity for Sadie, and your contributions will significantly influence our long-term go-to-market strategy in the region.
Your Responsibilities
- Territory Ownership and Growth: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy tailored to your territory, concentrating on independent hotels and regional groups.
- Business Development: Identify and engage high-potential regions, segments, and buyer personas within the local market through proactive outreach and leveraging industry connections.
- Consultative Sales: Conduct insightful sales conversations with hotel owners, general managers, and operations leaders while delivering compelling product demonstrations that highlight ROI, operational impact, and enhancements to guest experiences.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using HubSpot, accurately forecasting and managing deal progression to close new business.
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing, deal structuring, and overall commercial strategy.
Market Representation:
- Act as the voice of the market by gathering valuable feedback from prospects and clients to inform product development and positioning.
- Represent Sadie at regional hospitality events, trade shows, and networking functions, which may require travel.
