Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving outbound business development efforts, focusing on identifying and securing new commercial and strategic opportunities within Japan. Your responsibilities will encompass target account mapping, outreach, discovery, pitching, negotiation, and execution. You will collaborate closely with product teams and leadership to finalize deals and nurture key partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end business development efforts in Japan.
- Develop and oversee a pipeline of partners and customers in the blockchain infrastructure and fintech sectors.
- Identify and articulate high-impact use cases, crafting persuasive value propositions and pitches.
- Lead discussions with partners, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive decisions to closure.
- Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to tailor solutions and ensure smooth deal execution.
- Represent Startale at industry events and ecosystem gatherings throughout Japan.
- Monitor and report on pipeline metrics weekly, including forecasting and identifying key deal risks.
