Your Role
We are looking for a strategic BDR Manager to spearhead and scale our outbound sales development initiatives. This pivotal role is integral to our go-to-market strategy and will be instrumental in establishing the systems, processes, and coaching structures necessary for effective pipeline generation.
The BDR team is already achieving significant results and is poised for further expansion. As the leader, you will mentor and develop emerging sales talent, enhance outbound strategies, and craft operational playbooks that will enable the team to scale effectively in the coming years. Your contributions will directly impact revenue growth while closely collaborating with sales leadership, marketing, and revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives.
- Create comprehensive onboarding and ramp-up programs to accelerate new hire productivity.
- Deliver continuous coaching on cold calling techniques, prospecting strategies, objection handling, and qualification processes.
- Oversee outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement.
- Establish and refine outbound playbooks, messaging frameworks, and prospecting procedures.
- Track pipeline generation, activity metrics, and funnel performance.
- Ensure accurate reporting of pipeline and activities within CRM systems.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue operations to enhance lead generation and outbound workflows.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new BDRs as the team expands.
- Design systems and processes to enable efficient growth of the outbound organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing or coaching Business Development Representatives or Sales Development Representatives in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Deep understanding of outbound sales strategies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for motivating and guiding teams.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and interpret sales data and metrics.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales enablement tools.
