About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to become a key member of our team at Chainguard. If you possess a keen interest in cybersecurity along with a solid background in sales or lead generation, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will focus on identifying prospects, qualifying leads, and arranging appointments for our sales team, all aimed at fostering revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential clients in the security sales market through various lead generation strategies, including cold calls, emails, social media outreach, and participation in industry events.
- Perform in-depth research on prospects to understand their unique security needs, challenges, and key decision-makers.
- Build a robust pipeline of high-quality leads by consistently meeting or exceeding set weekly and monthly objectives.
- Qualify leads by assessing their business requirements and aligning them with our security solutions and services.
- Coordinate meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute targeted sales strategies tailored to specific industries, regions, or client profiles.
- Keep precise and updated records of prospects, leads, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in security to enhance our positioning with prospects.
- Participate in sales training sessions and team meetings to continuously enhance your sales skills and product knowledge.
- Provide constructive feedback to marketing and product teams based on your interactions with prospects and customers to refine messaging and improve offerings.
